Annet Mahendru

Mahendru is an Afghani woman born of an Russian father and an Hindu Indian mother. Mahendru is proficient of German Russian English. Annet Mahendru was born to an Indian father as well as mother of a Russian mother. When she was 11, she created a choreography which earned her a spot on German television as a beautiful Russian snow maiden who transforms into a lively Indian dancer. She finished high school at the age of 11 in New York and received a Bachelor of Arts in English at St. John's University. She studied acting classes at the HB Studios, but then moved on to pursue improvised comedy at The Groundlings School. She was created by her parents in Kabul Afghanistan, to Hindu-Indian Ghanshan Kenne Mahendru (father) as well as Russian Olga (mother). In her teens, her parents divorced and she left Kabul Afghanistan to East Meadow New York. Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys star in FX's The Americans. In FX's The Americans as Nina Sergeevna Krilova is her most notable television appearance. The actress also appeared in Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
